Everything on one page

Parents & prices

Four prices, the parent view explained without spin, the Elternabend evening and the enrolment form. If something here is unclear, it is our fault — call us and we will fix the wording.

Who are you booking for?

No year chosen — showing everything

Stored on your device only, so it is still set on the next page. Nothing is sent to us.

The parent view, honestly

When your child has a place you get a login. It is a small page that reports the centre's side of the afternoon. We want to be exact about what it is and what it is not, because software sold to parents often is not.

What you can see

  • The dates

Which sessions your child came to and which were missed, as dates. Nothing about why.

  • What the group worked on

One line written by the tutor after the session: "fractions, adding unlike denominators". It describes the afternoon, not your child.

  • What to bring next time

Reading book, ruler, the worksheet from Thursday. The list a seven-year-old will not remember at eight in the morning.

  • The next three dates

Time and room, and a note if a tutor is away and who is covering.

  • Your invoice

This month's fee, what it covers, whether the direct debit went through.

  • A message thread

You write to the tutor, the tutor writes back, usually the next afternoon. It is not instant messaging and nobody is on call at ten at night.

  • Exam dates you told us

Class tests you have entered yourself, so the group can practise the right thing beforehand. We do not see the results unless you tell us.

Your child can open the same page with your login and see exactly what you see. There is no parent-only view, no hidden note, nothing written about them that they may not read.

What it deliberately does not do

  • No grades, no score, no progress bar

We do not record marks, we do not rank the group, and we do not generate a number that says how your child is doing. If you want to know, ask the tutor and you will get a sentence, not a chart.

  • No tracking of any kind

No location, no camera, no screen monitoring, no app on your child's phone. The page knows only what a tutor typed into it.

  • No behaviour notes

Nothing about mood, attitude or effort is stored. If something needs saying about a hard afternoon, we say it to you on the phone and it does not go in a file.

  • Nothing your child may not read

There is one view. If your child asks to see it, show them — everything in it was written to be read by both of you.

Elternabend

Parent workshop: Hausaufgaben ohne Streit

€25 per evening, per household — one seat or two, same price.

Two hours, six evenings a year, twelve households in the room. We go through the ordinary flashpoints: the child who cannot start, the child who erases for forty minutes, the parent who ends up holding the pencil. You leave with three things to try and one thing to stop.

  • What a homework hour is actually for, and how long it should honestly take at each age
  • How to stop being your child's teacher at half past six and go back to being their parent
  • Where to draw the line, and what to write to the class teacher when the line keeps being crossed

Next evenings

  • Thursday 25 September, 19:30
  • Thursday 6 November, 19:30
  • Thursday 22 January, 19:30

The workshop is for adults only — no child's details are needed to book it.

Enrolment enquiry

Completed by a parent or legal guardian. We ask for the least we can: your name, how to reach you, your child's first name and their class year. No date of birth, no address, no school report, no photo.

This form is for a parent or legal guardian. If you are under 18, please ask a parent to fill it in with you — we cannot accept an enquiry from a child.

A first name is enough. Please do not enter a surname, a date of birth or an address.

Please keep this to what we need to place your child in the right group. No medical details, please — tell us those in person.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and, for the details about a child, Art. 8 GDPR — consent given by the holder of parental responsibility. Deleted no later than six months after our last contact if no place is taken up. Datenschutz

Or just talk to a person

Nadine picks up the phone most afternoons between two and seven. If nobody answers, the centre is in a group — leave a message and you get a call back the same evening.

Questions parents ask

Can we try it first?

Yes. The first afternoon is free and you do not have to decide anything at the end of it. Come, sit in the lobby, and take your child home with an opinion.

Do both children have to do the same subject?

No. The sibling bundle is two children from one household in any combination — reading for one, Abitur maths for the other is the most common pairing we have.

Will my child's grade improve?

We will not promise you a grade, and you should be careful with anyone who does. What we can tell you is the group size, how often a tutor sits with your child, what is practised each week and what changed in the exercise book.

My child is in class 2 and still cannot read properly. Is that too late?

No, and it is the most common reason a family calls us. Class 2 is early. We start below the point where it stopped working and read aloud every single session.

Homework ends in tears at our house. Does that stop?

Often, because most of it is done here with two adults in the room instead of at your kitchen table at seven. The parent workshop is the other half of the answer.

Do you prepare for the Abitur paper specifically?

Yes, from the state's released papers, in a group of three. From March the Q2 group works almost entirely on past papers under exam timing.

What happens if a session is missed?

Tell us and your child can sit in the same group on another day that week if there is a chair free. Missed sessions are not refunded, but they are not wasted either.

How do we stop?

One month's notice to the end of any month, by email or on paper, and you do not owe us a reason. No minimum term, no automatic year-long renewal.
