How we teach it
Read out loud, every session
Fifteen minutes of reading aloud to an adult who waits. No timer, no chart on the wall, no reading age announced in front of the group.
Numbers you can pick up
Blocks, coins and a number line before the worksheet. A child who can show you seven takeaway three with their hands stops guessing on paper.
One tutor, all year
The same tutor keeps the same group from September to July. They know which words your child stumbles on without opening a folder.
We report the work, not a verdict
After each session the tutor writes one line about what the group did. No scores, no ranking, nothing that a nine-year-old would be hurt to read over your shoulder.
Primary timetable
Live group times. Filtered to the year you picked so you can see whether the two kids actually overlap.

Where the two afternoons meet
Primary groups run from 14:30 to 17:00, secondary from 17:00 to 19:00, and the homework hour and the quiet study room bridge the gap. A class 3 child and a class 9 child can be at the same address from 15:45 until 19:00 with one drop-off and one pick-up.
What it costs
One monthly fee, €69, covering two group afternoons a week and the homework hour. No materials charge, no registration fee, one month's notice to the end of the month.

From the class 1–4 tables
Published with a first name and a class year only, and only where a parent agreed.
- Learner
“I read a whole page to my mum and she didn't help me once.”
- Learner
“The blocks are for babies but they did make me get it, so.”
- Parent
“Both of mine are in the same building for three hours. I get one text when they arrive and I drive once. I cannot explain what that has done for our evenings.”
Learners are quoted with a first name and class year only, with their parent's written consent and their own agreement. We never publish photographs of the children who learn here.
Questions parents ask
Can we try it first?
Yes. The first afternoon is free and you do not have to decide anything at the end of it. Come, sit in the lobby, and take your child home with an opinion.
Do both children have to do the same subject?
No. The sibling bundle is two children from one household in any combination — reading for one, Abitur maths for the other is the most common pairing we have.
Will my child's grade improve?
We will not promise you a grade, and you should be careful with anyone who does. What we can tell you is the group size, how often a tutor sits with your child, what is practised each week and what changed in the exercise book.
My child is in class 2 and still cannot read properly. Is that too late?
No, and it is the most common reason a family calls us. Class 2 is early. We start below the point where it stopped working and read aloud every single session.
Homework ends in tears at our house. Does that stop?
Often, because most of it is done here with two adults in the room instead of at your kitchen table at seven. The parent workshop is the other half of the answer.
Do you prepare for the Abitur paper specifically?
Yes, from the state's released papers, in a group of three. From March the Q2 group works almost entirely on past papers under exam timing.
What happens if a session is missed?
Tell us and your child can sit in the same group on another day that week if there is a chair free. Missed sessions are not refunded, but they are not wasted either.
How do we stop?
One month's notice to the end of any month, by email or on paper, and you do not owe us a reason. No minimum term, no automatic year-long renewal.
